APPEARANCE

[ Breed ]: Toyger / Turkish Angora X Oriental Short hair

Hehku is a very tall lanky Oriental-looking she-cat. She is ginger in color with darker saimese points, white underbelly, socks and tail tip, and is covered all around with dark brownish-red stripes. Her fur is very short and hugs her body very closely making it easy to see she has quite a lot of muscle built up from swimming and running for fun. Her legs are very long and elegant the darker toes and stripes give her another regal element. Her neck is also very long and supports her triangular shaped head very well. Hehku's ears are strange and tend to be very floppy, yet not completely flopped over. Tossing her head side to side will make her ears flop back and forth easily. Her ears also sport soft white fur that stands out easily from her dark colored ears. Her eyes are a grey-brown tone and are usually described as being very stunning. Last, but not least, Hehku has a long flowing striped tail with a very fluffy end and base. She cannot stand her tail, for it has such long annoying fur on it! Overall Hehku can be described as a very elegant looking ginger tabby oriental cat.

[ Height ]: Tall
[ Weight ]: Lean
[ Eyes ]: Grey
[ Fur ; Length ]: Ginger ; Very Short and Sleek
[ Other ]: Ear Tufts and Tuft at the end of her tail

[ Accessories ]:
Two Golden Rings She no longer wears them, but they were two golden rings given to her by her previous mates.

ROMANCE

Status: Single
Orientation: Polyamourus Pansexual
Current Attractions:
Skylr Green Void Hehku thinks of Skylr as an incredibly hansom and tom. She was always aesthetically interested in him, but has developed a crush on him after they spent many days together! Skylr showed Hehku more of the world than she had ever seen, and she began to slowly start having feelings for him.

Preferences:
Hehku is an older cat. She has gone through a relationship and had a litter of kittens already. Through her life she has realized that the regular relationships of cats confused her. She never understood why these cats had to limit themselves to one mate when love was so limitless. You could love everyone and anyone and still be a good person. She had two mates at first they were both males and made her happier than any cat could ever be, and from then on she knew her orientation and has been happy ever sense.

Hehku really loves males and females who have red or orange pelts or stark white ones. Solid white cats will forever make this she-cats heart flutter. Personality wise hehku could literally love anyone. She can pick out something good about someone and go on about the forever and ever. She just loves everyone in general, but sometimes she loves two or three cats in particular the most. So This she-cat does require that your cat be willing to have an open relationship at some point.

[ Brief Personality ]:

+[ Creative ]: having good imagination or original ideas.
Hehku is a creative cat. She enjoys making things or thinking of new sort of things to do or take part in. She firmly believes in certain colors meaning certain things, and certain materials meaning other things. Being creative makes her think different towards other cats, and she is extremely open to many different ideas. Thanks to the fact that she was once in a polygamous relationship she doesn't really look down on anyone for anything. She has a great deal of concentration and can do the same repetitive thing for hours without getting bored as long as the outcome is something worth while. While awake she can tend to be very hyperactive and likes to talk a lot.

+[ Tenderhearted ]: having a kind, gentle, or sentimental nature.
Hehku has a very soft heart. She is extremely kind to everyone without even knowing who they are. She has managed to keep a good nature towards even the most wicked of cats. The way the cats treated her in her old gang really hurt her, so she never wants to make anyone feel that way. She cannot seem to have a negative opinion about anyone even with the most understandable reasons. She's only ever held sour feelings for a short amount of time. Forgiveness comes easy to her, and shes even managed to forgive her old gang leader for kicking her out the gang. The one cat she's only ever managed to keep a grudge on is her brothers. They did something she deemed unacceptable and will not talk about them every again. Because she's so nice she is very good for helping other cats get back up on their feet from a rough relationship or to help them get over the leave/death of a family member or friend.

+[ Appreciative ] : Recognition of the quality, value, significance, or magnitude of people and things.
Hehku is an appreciative cat. She knows what it takes to catch large prey, and she has seen what it takes to make accessories. She is appreciative of absolutely everything, and doesn't think anything anyone does it minor or unimportant. Everything is important to her, especially peoples feelings. She recognizes how hard it is for people to get over devastating happenings in their life, so she celebrates when someone manages to feel good about themselves or anything like that. She notices when she thinks cats are not appreciating another cat and does her best to try and make the other cat feel good about what they have done!

-[ Meek ] : Evidencing little spirit or courage; overly submissive or compliant; humble in spirit or manner; suggesting retiring mildness or even cowed submissiveness.
Hehku is extremely submissive in every aspect. She tends to let everyone walk all over her in an attempt to make them feel better. She's feels like it's more important to help the other person than her thanks to what happened to her in her old gang. She'll do anything to feel more accepted and if that involves letting some other cats walk all over her she'll do so. She will be afraid of people who walk on her, but she will never speak out against them and would need someone else to do that for her. On the other end, her meekness also makes her very humble. She does not hold herself up on a pedestal, and never will, but she will always know that she did something good, and expects no recognition for it.

-[ Simple ]: of low or abnormally low intelligence.
This she-cat can be described as very simple. She's not much of a clever cat, and could even be considered unintelligent by some, but while she's lacking in the clever department she excels in the emotional aspect of people. In battle or hunting sometimes she'll make a very ignorant mistake ruining it for everyone else hunting with her. She cannot battle well because her mind doesn't move as fast as everyone else. She does not like other cats to possible point out that she's lacking in intelligence. If she will ever be assigned an apprentice she will most likely be teaching them how to treat others instead of hunting which would be bad for the apprentice's sake, but sometimes she believes that all cats need to do is like each other. She is a naive soul.

-[ Anxious ]: experiencing worry, unease, or nervousness, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome.
Hehku can be extremely anxious and unease on certain days. She has days where she feels more anxious than anything, and can be very untrusting of other cats besides her kits. This happens because of what happened in her old gang. She doesn't want to be ignored or looked down upon anymore. On these days she tends to try her best to socialize with other cats. Being ignored can send her into a sad state for a few hours, and she cannot handle being left alone while she is anxious. She craves the company of other cats and friends and sometimes this can really hurt her.

[ Extra ]:
* Ember has a fascination with any form of accessories. The old gang she belonged to collected old thrown away accessories created by tribe cats, so now that she lives with the tribe cats she is always interested in anything like that. She has an automatic adoration for any cat with a tribe specific occupation.
* She adores kits!
* She's really not looking for another relationship because she's still believes a cat should be able to have as many mates as they want as long as there's consent from everyone in the relationship.
* Water Tribe is absolutely the most amazing thing ever to her and she's not going to leave sometimes she dislikes even going into the neutral land for fear of losing the color on her tattoo.

[ History ]:

Hehku's parents were both born into exile. Her mother went by the name of Thread. She was buff in stature and heavily built. Her pelt was long, and had marble tabby stripes stretching all around it. Her face was intimidating and her eyes were a brown-gray color. Thread was a cat of high intelligence. She prided herself in being smarter than any cat she met. Thread was not very easily impressed, and even less impressed by those who tried too hard. Throughout her life she found herself in small 'leadership' positions. She had never intended to settle down with any certain group. She just wanted to teach newly found exiles her way of life, which was the best of course. One day she met a band of brothers who had recently been traveling. They looked starved and weak. The oldest brother, a tom by the name of Scorch asked for Thread's assistance. The long-furred she-cat complied. She had taught others before, but she took a liking to these three brothers. She taught them the best ways to hunt the fauna in the area, and places too avoid. The four of them had been together for a month, and it was getting close to the time that Thread usually told her friends goodbye as they went on to live their lives. Scorch's brothers both decided to leave with each other, but Scorch wanted to stay with Thread. Thread wasn't complaining, but she was unused to having someone tag along with her forever. She could tell that Scorch had taken a liking to her, but she didn't want to seem to interested. He was a hansom tom. She could not lie that she found his physic interesting. He was very tall, and his pelt was stark white with a few ginger spotted patches. His eyes were alluring, and his voice made her melt. She refused to admit she had feelings for the tom, and the two of them traveled together helping other exiles as Thread sunk deeper and deeper into love with her new companion. After another month of traveling together Scorch came to her one evening. He presented her with a freshly caught mouse and asked her if she wished to be his mate. She was caught off guard, and took a few minutes to eat the mouse. Scorch seemed concerned and nervous. Why was Thread not answering him? They had been together for a while did she not have feelings for him? But Thread finished and licked her maw with a devious smile. "I'd love to be your mate Scorch." She said with a purr rising deep in her throat. Scorch was elated he rubbed his head against hers in joy. That night the two slept together curled around each other. Their purring did not cease.

The two of them remained mates for many more months. The exiles of the land knew them as a pair. Thread and Scorch were inseparable. They had shared their pasts with one another, and were extremely comfortable around each other. They were forever stuck in the romantic first love stage, and couldn't think of a negative thing to say about the other cat. Eventually Thread started to talk about wanting kits. Scorch wasn't to very into the idea, but he figured if Thread wanted to have a family he would be willing to have one also. A few weeks later Thread had confessed to Scorch that she was expecting the kits. The two of them were ecstatic about the fact and they started picking out names immediately. The pregnancy went well, and Thread was over joyed. Scorch stayed very loving, if not more loving since the kits became a big part of his life. The two were going to have a very good life together. As time went on and Thread was almost ready to have the kittens they encountered another cat who needed assistance. He was a buttery-colored tom with jet black stripes named Tiger, and he was just excited for his new friend's kits as they were. The night after meeting Tiger, disaster stuck Thread. In the morning she awoke to find that Scorch was gone. Tiger had no idea where he vanished to, and Thread was devastated. He had shown no signs that he was unhappy with Thread, in fact he was very excited for their kittens, yet he vanished. Thread and Tiger spent the next few days trying to find Scorch, but their search was put to a halt when Thread went into labor. Thread and her friend found a nice sheltered area for her to give birth to the kits, but there was no one around with experience to help them. The kitting was painful, and left Thread with three small bundles of fur. She was exhausted, and only stayed awake to tell Tiger their names, after that she slept. Tiger watched guard over the four cats until Thread got her strength together. Thread watched over her three kits for the next few weeks while Tiger went out every day searching for Scorch. Thread was inconsolable thanks to the disappearance of her mate. She couldn't wrap her head around why he could have left her. Tiger did his best to cheer her up and promised to stay with her to help raise her kits. She was thankful for the help, and the two of them did so.

The three kits went by the names of Ember, Spark, and Feather. Ember was the only girl of the three, and the strongest. She was an equal mix of her two parents pelts. Her fur was ginger like her fathers, but she sported her mothers markings. Ember was tall and lanky much like her dad, and was the only one of the three kits to have short fur. Thread loved her and her brothers dearly. They meant the world to her, and she never wanted to see them get hurt. Their mother was struggling with her own problems, though. She put on a happy face for her kits, but she couldn't shake off the confusion and sadness that was left with her at Scorch's departure. Tiger did everything he could to try and help Thread through this, and she appreciated it. As the kits grew Thread only got worse. Ember saw little of her mother and relied mostly on Tiger to try and teach her the basics of being a cat. He taught them how to hunt, hide, and everything else a cat needed. Thread was known for her ability to teach, but was unable to due to her emotions, so her kits learned nothing from their mother.

As they aged, Tiger eventually had gotten their mother to get back into her old self. It had taken many months, but she was finally able to behave like she once had. She paid the price with her kits, as none of them had a relationship with her, or seemed to want one. Ember was interested with her mother, but was also confused. She couldn't understand why her mom had been so distant and so quiet throughout her whole kithood. She knew the story about her father's disappearance, but didn't think that was enough for her mom to be upset for so many months. Meanwhile, Ember was starting to notice that Tiger was falling deeply in love with her Mother. She had told Thread a few times, which didn't end well. Her mother didn't like the idea of being in love anymore. It was terrifying to her. She didn't want Tiger to leave her like Scorch had. Ember kept trying to insist to her mother that Tiger wasn't like that, and finally once Ember sported her new grey tattoo, her mother and Tiger became mates. Ember was thrilled that her mother was finally happy. Ember kept to herself, and hung out with her brothers most of the time. Thread and Tiger spent a lot of time with each other, and finally their mother started to teach Ember a thing or two about hunting. Ember became the best hunter in the family and brought home more prey than both of her brothers combined. It was a happy simply life for the five of them. Ember grew older, and things remarkably stayed the same, until the day that her mother announced that she was expecting kits again. Ember was wary, not because she didn't love the kits. She would love them like no other sibling. They were her mother's and Tiger's who was pretty much her father, but Ember didn't want to be in charge of taking care of a kitten. It wasn't what she wanted to do with her life. Ember had grown up to be a very independent kitten with big dreams of traveling, and she was starting to get bored with all their staying in place all the time. Once her mother announced she was having a second litter, Ember knew that they weren't ever going to travel again. She and her brothers talked about it briefly wanting to bring it up with their mother at some point, but hadn't gotten their chance. They stayed with her for a long time until their mother was blatantly showing that she was expecting, and the three siblings met a rogue cat. This cat had a black star on their forehead and told the kits about life in a land far south with tribes, where your tattoo became vibrant and you could use hidden abilities. The siblings were floored at this information and Ember expressed to them that she was upset, because she wanted to travel, but couldn't leave her pregnant mother. The healer struck a bargain with Ember and her siblings saying that they could help them. The three siblings returned to their mother with this healer saying that they would help her when she went into labor. When the healer cat first saw Thread they were floored. They told thread that her belly was more swollen than any cat they had ever seen and that she was at least expecting over five kittens. The siblings now knew that they really had to get away, or they would be baby sitting a whole army. The day finally came that the kittens told their mother that they were going to leave after she had her kittens. Thread was understanding and knew that her kittens were old enough and had their own lives. Ember was surprised at this, and very excited to be able to go off on her own life. They stayed like they said they were going to, and their mother remarkably gave birth to six kittens. Each of them were very small and delicate, and Ember was almost sad to tell them goodbye when she left a few days later.

Ember and her brothers left together. They traveled south still trying to get to the tribes that the healer told them about. They were excited and ready to learn about these mysterious abilities that tribe cats possessed. She and her brothers were going through a very shady piece of land when they were ambushed. The three of them were held hostage until the leader of the group came to see who these cats were. Ember and her brothers explained to the leader that they were just travelers trying to find the tribes. This group of cats told Ember that the 'tribes' were a myth and had disbanded and been destroyed by their own ignorance during their second great war. Ember was devastated at this, she had been looking forward to seeing these tribes for so long, and now they were never going to. This small group told the siblings that they could live with them if they wished to. The leader told them that their group was one that traveled all over the territory looking for new fascinating things, and collecting objects, and what they called artifacts. Ember fit in well with this new group. They admired her for her hunting skills and she quickly climbed the ranks to their top hunter even at her young age of a little over a season cycle. Ember had made many friends, but two that she cared about the most were Bear and Zeek. Bear was a stocky male with a heavy body set. His fur was a deep ginger color and was spotted with deep black markings. His face was covered in stunning black markings and his green eyes stood out well against his fur. He was a goofy tom with a lot of social skills. Zeek was tall and slender a lot like Ember. He was shy and a lot more reserved than Bear. Zeek's pelt was a grey-brown color and was dappled with many spots. His eyes were gray and he had the biggest goofiest ears Ember had ever seen. She loved them both dearly, and as another season cycle went by she realized she loved both of them romantically. She was confused at who she thought she had to pick. Both of the toms had already shared their feelings for her, and she knew they both equally liked her. Ember one day thought to herself that she just didn't understand why she couldn't just have them both as her mates. All three of them were very close friends, and the two boys didn't ever have anything against each other even if they both knew they had feelings for Ember. She went to them one afternoon while most of the gang was out hunting and asked them about it. She confessed that she loved them both and couldn't chose. Zeek and Bear told her they would think about it. Ember was left alone for a few days by the two of them and she had begun to worry that she scared off the two cats she cared most about. Finally they both came to her and said they would be okay with that sort of relationship, but that no one could know. Ember was a little dishearten to find out about this. She wanted to broadcast their love to everyone, but she agreed.

The three of them kept their relationship a secret just like they had planned on and things worked out fine. It was an odd relationship of Zeek having feelings for both Bear and Ember, Bear having feelings for him back and Ember, and she of course being in love with them both as well. The boys were both worried that the leader of the gang would call them indecent and kick them out. Neither of the boys felt that they could make it without their leader, while Ember was convinced that they could, yet the three of them continued to live in the gang of cats. Ember was always happy. She loved hunting, and loved being in a group with her brothers and mates. It was a lifestyle she loved having. The she-cat never wanted to leave despite having to hide her love from everyone. Through the relationship, which had gone on for a few months Ember found herself watching the other she-cats of the groups grow and start families with their lovers, or mates. She yearned for that, and wished to be a mother. There was nothing more that the bubbly she-cat wanted to do despite her earlier thoughts of never wanting to be in charge of her own mother's kittens. She knew she would be a good mother to her own kits. That night she brought it up with Zeek and Bear. Bear was enthusiastic about the idea, but Zeek was nervous. How would this work? Who would she say was the father, and what if the kits turned out looking more like their fathers than Ember. The grey-brown spotted tom was worried for their sake, but he was not opposed to starting a family. With enough coaxing and trying, Ember managed to get both of her mates to agree to father a litter of hers. The three of them eloped one evening telling the gang leader that they would be out on a hunting trip a little farther off where Ember had found a great place to catch squirrel. No hunting was involved, and the three of them returned in the wee hours of the next day.

A healer in the tribe announced to the gang a few weeks later that Ember was pregnant. The cats questioned Ember who the father was, and in the panic of being thrust into a public situation Ember claimed that she did not know. The rest of the gang responded to this suspiciously. Ember was put under a lot of pressure and while both Zeek and Bear did their best to console her she was not handling it very well. Eventually one of her brothers came to her, asking her privately who the father of her kits were. Ember struggled to keep it a secret still insisting that she wasn't sure. Her brothers began to hound her on how she couldn't be sure about something like that. Ember broke down finally and told them that they were both of her mates. Her brothers were confused and angry at their sister. They claimed it was impossible for her to have two mates it was morally wrong. She left them upset and angry for not accepting them, but didn't go to Zeek and Bear. She waited until that night to go to them confessing that she had told her brothers. They were both honestly interested in what reaction she had gotten from them. The news wasn't anything to be excited about, both of their faces fell as Ember said that her brothers claimed it was morally wrong. The ginger she-cat became increasingly upset. Her mates did their best to calm her down, but it was futile effort. Ember became a very reclusive cat after this event, too afraid to make friends. She even became more reclusive towards her mates who were concerned over her and the kits sake. Slowly they helped her improve her mood as time went by, but she was never the happy cat she used to be. It was hard for her to get back into the mindset that everyone would accept her. By the time she was becoming more active in the gang's society it was almost time for her kitting. She was excited once again! Zeek and Bear shared her feelings, and almost everyone else seemed to. Besides her brothers who still kept their terrible attitudes towards the situation.

She returned one night after hanging out with Zeek and Bear to find her brothers waiting on her. They were angry with her now saying that they were going to tell the leader. Ember pleaded with them not to tell. It would ruin everything she had worked so hard for. It didn't matter to her brothers all they cared about was the fact that Ember wasn't acting morally correct in their eyes at all. They chided her saying 'what would mother think.' Over and over, and Ember did nothing. They let her be and she went back to her nest to try to sleep. The next morning she was awoke by a sharp pain in her stomach. The kits were coming. She was nervous and unsure what to do, and because of this she went to Zeek and Bear while in public trying to hide her pains from everyone. She asked them both what she should do, and they immediately took her one of the other she-cats who had recently had kits. The birth was hard on Ember, and both Zeek and Bear did their best to hide the fact that they were anxious about their mate's current situation. A few hours into the night the kits were finally welcomed into the world. There were six of them, but three were still born, and one of the remaining three didn't seem like it would make it through the night. Four of the six kits resembled bear while the other two favored more of Zeek. Ember was tired, but she remained awake enough to give them their names. Lion, String, and Scotch were the three still born kits. She named them after her parental figures she had in her life, and the remaining three were names Komore, Roari, and Mkaa. Those were a few names that Zeek and Bear had both picked out. After giving them names Ember slept. She was too exhausted to mourn for her stillborn kits, or for her sickly kit.

In the morning she awoke feeling still exhausted, but more awake now to get a good look at her kits. Her three deceased kits were at the back of the make-shift nursery. They were each covered by a single leaf, and Ember didn't have enough energy to get up and go look at them just yet, so she examined her remaining kits. Komore was a beautiful baby girl with a striking flame colored pelt much like her mother, and her patterns resembled her father well. She had his face mask, and shared some of Ember's beautiful stripes. Roari was a smaller kit than her sister. He was obviously Zeek's kit and had a more subdued pelt. It had the spots of his father, and his face mask, but leaned towards Ember color wise. The third kit was extremely tiny compared to their siblings. They took after bear heavily with their markings. She was afraid for its health as it seemed much much weaker than their siblings, and she would make sure they survived she was determined. Ember was so extremely proud of her tiny kits. The next few days she stayed in the nursery area coddling over her kits, and her three still born ones were buried outside of their current camp. Bear and Zeek still hadn't gotten to see their kits and they were anxious to be able to see them. Ember finally announced that she would like to have visitors, and felt well enough to socialize. Everyone in the gang came to see the kits most just wanted to know who the father was. Bear and Zeek finally got to see their kits, and it was almost impossible for both of them to hide their admiration. Bear was so happy that two of them happened to take after him, and Zeek was ecstatic that he had a son who was his. They had a little family! Ember wasn't nervous to see anyone but her brothers, who showed up eventually. She didn't make eye contact with either of them. Both of them looked at her kittens with disdain claiming it was obvious who their fathers were. Ember shielded them with her tail and politely asked them to leave, which they surprisingly did. For a few weeks everything went good, every now and then Bear and Zeek would both come visit if no one was in the area. Komore Roari and Mkaa grew slowly, but surely. Mkaa managed to over come its weakness and turned out to be just a little more whiny than their siblings. It wasn't until her brothers got involved again that Ember started having problems. Ember wasn't sure what had set them off, but suddenly the leader of the gang came to visit her one day. He asked if she had two mates, and Ember got nervous immediately. She couldn't hold it any longer and confessed to having to mates. He didn't seem surprised and asked if it was Zeek and Bear. Ember refused to answer and gave him a very strong look. He scoffed at her and told her to get up. She got up and walked to the center of their small camp. There couldn't have been more than seven cats in their gang but they were all there huddled around. Zeek and Bear were standing towards the back of the crowd looking defeated. Bear had a fresh wound over his face while Zeek just looked tired. Ember wondered if there had been a struggle. Her thoughts were thrown off course as the leader began to speak. "Ember the whole gang knows what you have done. Having two mates is morally wrong in our eyes and we will have to ask you to leave. You may take Komore and Roari with you, but we're keeping Mkaa." Ember sat up her grey eyes showed that she was extremely angry. She wanted to know why she had to leave only one of her kits. The leader told her it was punishment for her crimes against them. They would take care of him, but she had still done something the group did not support. Ember refused and suddenly some of the cats of the gang hissed and arched their backs. The leader told her she must leave now or they would run her off themselves. Ember listened sadly and went back to the nursery. She told Mkaa bye claiming that she would always love them no matter what and she would see them again one day. Then she left with Komore and Roari.

It was hard to carry on after that. She was so unsure of the fate of her kit and her mates. The guilt ripped and tore at her insides and she couldn't seem to shake it. Were her mates all right? Why did they seem injured. Why did her brothers think the was ok to do to her. It hurt. She just couldn't believe what had happened, but she wouldn't let this ruin her. It wasn't going to send her spiraling down like her father's absence did to her mother. She would be there for her kittens, and she wasn't going to abandon them ever. Komore and Roari grew up healthy. They were happy souls, and while Roari was not as adventurous as Komore they made a great pair in her eyes. Both of them reminded her so much of their fathers. Roari was a little more cautious just like Zeek has been, and Komore was feisty like Bear was. Some days Ember wondered what her third kit has turned out like. Were they as adventurous as Bear? Maybe they favored her, but she thought she was never going to know. Sometimes she talked to her kits about when they got older questioning them both to see what they thought their sibling had been like. Another question she asked a lot is what they both thought of their fathers. Ember was quick to tell them that they were both wonderful toms, and hansom like you'd never believe. Finally, when the kits had recently turned six months and received the same swirling shoulder tattoos as her, The three met three others. Komore and Roari had met two toms and a kit out on an adventure one day. The two toms asked them both to take them to their mother which they did. Ember was more than shocked when her kits came back from playing with her two mates and third kit as company. She ran towards them a deep purr rising in her throat as they embraced. She questioned them about what had happened, and how they had managed to leave. They told her that after she left they only stayed in the gang a few more days both of them claimed they only wanted to stay for the third kit's sake, but when they realized the kitten was being abused by their caretaker the toms decided to leave. Late into the night they snuck into the nursery taking the small kitten and left without a trace. They had lived as exiles caring for the kitten until they had been able to find her. Ember was very thankful to have the two of them back, and she finally got to see her third kitten. They introduced them to their mother and ember laid next to the kitten. They were very small, and seemed to have not grown nearly the size of their siblings, but they were nice non the less, and happy to finally meet their mother. Ember and her former mates decided to stay together for a while to see if they could repair their relationship.

Two months went by, and Zeek and Bear told Ember they wanted to go ahead and leave. Ember was not hurt, she understood the reason why they wanted to. Over the time that Zeek and Bear had been separated from Ember they fell in love with each other. Her unwanted absence had caused a rift in the three of them. Ember was slightly hurt, as she wished things could finally go back to normal now that they wouldn't be confined to any certain gang rules, but it wasn't going to be like that. Roari, Komore, and she told their father's and sibling goodbye as they left the land. Ember had not expected her kits to respond the way they did to their fathers leave. Roari was devastated by Zeek's departure, and Ember did everything she could to soothe her kit's sad heart. She decided it was once again time to travel, so the three of them started to head south. Each day they rested and Ember made Roari and Komore wait while she went to hunt. They were nine months old, but she still didn't think they should wonder around alone. While hunting one day Ember caught an unfamiliar smell on her nose. She began to hunt and look around searching for the origin and she realized it was a territory border. She wondered why there would be a territory border out in the middle of no where and began to follow it. Suddenly she came across another cat. He told her that she was getting very close to his tribe's borders. Ember took notice of the fact that his tattoo was green and the same shape as hers. She told him that she thought the tribes with colored markings were just a myth, but in fact they were far from that. The cat, a tom named Skylr, told her that he belonged to Water tribe and that there were Five other tribes in his land. Each was blessed by a spirit giving them supernatural abilities. Skylr explained to her that She could ask his leader for permission for her and her kittens to enter the tribes if they had room. She was excited. This was what she had been waiting her whole life for, and she hoped that this would work out. Ember went to retrieve her kittens telling them that she met a tribe cat. She was so excited, and her kits felt the same to her knowledge. She trekked back down to the Tribes and Skylr escorted her to Lully, the silver Water. She were welcomed into Water Tribe and suddenly Ember felt her body swell with a new feeling. Her tattoo crawled up her face and burned orange. She had never felt so wonderful, but she was unsure if this would be a completely safe place for her kits. After her traumatic experience with her previous gang, she needed to make sure these cats had no intentions of hurting her or her kits. She returned to them one last time telling Both of them to stay safe and she would return in three months to either leave with them or bring them to the tribes herself. She wished her kits goodbye and told Komore not to beat up Roari and for Roari to be as tough as he could be and she left. She felt hallow without her children, but it was quickly filled with the excitement for the new faces and powers she would be experiencing with an orange tattoo !

Taz wasn’t sure what to think about this guy. He was upset and annoyed about why this guy was so concerned about someone else’s clothes. It wasn’t like they were hurting this guy. It was taz’s choice to wear these!! This was his lucky sweater. He loved it even though his sister ruined it with those dumb patches. “I am not afraid of bullets!” Taz said back angrily, “and I am perfectly aware of what they can do! Why are you even getting upset?” He threw down his arms to his sides like an upset child, “I did not do anything to you! Sorry I do not partake to use your way of hunting? That barbaric way of shooting down or clubbing. Can you even fucking hardwire a circuit board from scratch mr. perfect shot? Because I do it every night, and I make my own bombs on a pitiful budget.” He almost seemed like he was puffing up now, “I respect the way you choose to do your hunting and make your money, and I appreciate the help and the fashion advice, but I do not wish to stand her and be insulted without so much as a word! If you wish to shoot me than do it, because I am obviously not worth being alive if I am gun shy and enjoy wearing the only sweater my mom ever bought me.” He crossed his arms and stood still. This was completely out of character for Taz, but he could only take so much.

These were the sort of moments Shamus had missed more than anything. He loved being able to feel safe in Hatter’s arms. It didn’t matter what happened back then, the embrace he received from Hatter was the only one that ever gave him any sort of satisfaction that he was going to be ok. It didn’t matter what had happened earlier Hatter could cure anything with a hug in Shamus’s opinion. The kisses were nice to, but not as awesome as the hugs. He still missed them anyway. He had missed everything to do with Hatter. Just because he might have been slightly scarred up didn’t mean a thing. That was just something new Shamus would learn to love over time, right? He just hoped Hatter would do that for him. He could feel Hatter’s hands on his furless scars, but it wasn’t even a bad thing. It was new, and it was an interesting feeling. Shamus had never had anyone actually touch his scars before. After the kiss he laughed slightly at Hatter’s comment, “So am I allowed to spend the night?” he snickered and added, “At my boyfriend’s house I would think that would be all right!”

It was just any other day after school for John. His parents weren’t back from work yet so his delinquent brother was ‘watching after’ him like normal. Making sure John was doing his homework was Luke’s only job. John was feeling angry today, much more on the edge than usual. Something had set him off at school that had just made him think really hard about his homelife. There was nothing here worth staying for besides his brother, Mark. Mark was his protector, but John didn’t want to live in fear he didn’t want to be so scared all the time. Maybe he could stand up to Luke. Maybe he would be strong enough it’s not like Luke works out he’s just some little farm boy! John acted out in rebellion and decided not to do his homework. Instead his blatantly walked out into the living room and turned on the tv for ALL to hear! He would enjoy this and Luke would just have to get over it. John could immediately hear the larger cat’s footsteps coming down the hallway and in instinct John grabbed for the remote to turn the TV off, but he stopped himself. No, no! He’s not going to pussy out. Luke stepped in front of John and the TV. He was a huge darker colored cat with a very unpleasing face. “What the hell are you doing?” He said with a calm, yet vicious tone, “You’re supposed to be doing your homework do you need some reminding.” John turned the TV off immediately and tried not to shake to bad, “I’m gonna do it later I had a really hard day at school…” His plan didn’t work his voice came out meek and shaky. He was so scared, so, so scared. “I’d imagine school would be hard for you.” Luke had an amused tone in his voice as he started to walk away. He came up behind John and leaned on the back of the sofa, “School would be hard for me too if I was as stupid as you. Mom and Dad should have listened to me when I told them you were dumber than a pile of cow shit. You’re just gonna end up homeless and dead, stupid people don’t contribute to society did you know that.” Luke’s words stung John like fire. He was so tired. He was so fed up. He wasn’t stupid he just couldn’t comprehend. His outrage remained silent and his brother turned to walk away, a huge mistake on Luke’s part. John couldn’t stop himself, he lunged for the coffee table, grabbed one of the decorative glass vases, stood up on the couch cushions and shattered that vase across the back of his older brother’s head. “I’m NOT stupid!” He screamed and stood there on the couch cushion waiting for his brother to retaliate. “Apologize to me !” John yelled and dropped the part of the vase he was holding onto. Luke turned around slowly and brushed his hand across the back of his head. It was bleeding, not very badly, but it was bleeding. John couldn’t get out of the way in time before Luke grabbed him by the ear and ripped him forwards. The younger brother was slung from off the couch to a little ways behind it crumpled up on the floor. He looked back at his brother in panic and mouthed ‘sorry’ a few times. Luke started to kick him repeatedly in the sides and john was holding his ears and yelping with every blow. Once Luke must have been satisfied with his job he picked his brother up by the arm and pressed him up against the nearest wall. John desperately scratched at him with his legs, “I’m sorry!” He yelled, “I’m sorry I didn’t mean it! Don’t kill me!” He was sobbing now and his brother smiled, “You’re such a fucking idiot, you think smashing a vase over my head’s going to fix something I’m just about done with you. Remember that while you’re dying it’s your own fucking fault ok.” And with that said Luke wrapped one of his hands around John’s throat and the other followed quickly after. John looked absolutely terrified. He didn’t want to die yet. He had so much left to do! He was only thirteen years old. Why him why now. He didn’t mean to be stupid. He was sorry, so, so sorry. “Mark.” His cry was weak and didn’t sound much at all like his brother’s name. “Mark?” Luke repeated, “Sure yea, I’ll kill him too.”

The glowing hotel lobby was always hard to maneuver, but it almost always seemed like it was even harder to get around when you had somewhere to go. Everywhere there were people checking in, checking out, demanding new towels, placing complaints, placing requests, and everything in between. Paws were going to be stepped on in this lobby so you might as well have gotten used to that fact. It was easier to get through if you were important or small, but Chica was neither. The tall, pregnant savannah cat did her best to get through the crowd. People would run into her and she would be the one to say sorry right off the bat. Normally she would have tried to talk to someone while she was walking through the disorganized chaos, but she had somewhere important to be. Well, she didn’t know what it was but she knew she needed to meet Dylan on the roof. She got into one of the many crowded elevators that lead up to the top of the building. Chica was pushed in with a bunch of other people, but the farther you went up the more the numbers decreased and finally Chica was on the top floor of the hotel. She couldn’t actually recall how to get on the roof, but she figured it was the stairs. She took them up, but paused right before she opened the door out to the roof. She smoothed down her bangs and adjusted the lily in her hair. She opened the door slowly and peeked out. She was blown away by the beauty Dylan had set up out here! Thought it was just a table really, she loved it! And a little candle lit dinner too! She gasped and put her paws over her mouth in excitement. ”Dylan!” She squeaked excitedly, removing her paws from her face, “What’s all this! Oh my gosh a dinner and everything!! Gosh I’m really sorry for being late! Did you do this all yourself?”
